Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU) is one of the leading medical HEI in Ukraine. The mission of BSMU is to improve healthcare locally and globally through excellence and innovation in education, research, and clinical care.
BSMU aims to address the needs of and positively impact society by continuously advancing educational excellence and scientific innovation. Their goal is to prepare health professionals by the highest standards to practice evidence-based medicine and patient-centred care, and to produce research scholars demonstrating excellence in knowledge, skills, and attitude. They aim to provide a learning ecosystem empowered with continuous professional growth and development.
The main cooperation partner in the BSMU will be the Centre of Simulation Medicine and Innovative Technologies (COSMIT), which, in turn, is closely connected with all the faculties in both studies and innovation.
COSMIT is focused on efficient development of practical skills of students and staff using advanced methodology and technologies. Mutual cooperation and sharing experiences in this area, further potential improvements of methodology and equipment, dissemination of the methodology for raising the qualifications of the personnel of medical institutions will bring direct benefits to BSMU and project partners working in the health sector (UL, UC, RSU, etc.), as well as generate suggestions for applying methodological experience in other areas for all project participants.
